Sue DeGram is an experienced communications professional who has worked successfully in the industry for over 18 years. In the last 9 years, Sue worked for Arthur Allen in various positions at ASG Software Solutions in Marketing, Software Development, and Sales. She received her Bachelor's degree from FSU Kendall College of Art and Design.


Years of experience: 35+

Richard Vance has more than 35  years of comprehensive experience in management, research, development, and technical support in the IT industry. Prior to joining ALA Services, Mr. Vance worked at ASG Software Solutions for 16 years. He held the position of Executive Vice President of Operations, responsible for ASG’s development, product management, technical support, professional services, and technical communications.

Charles Keen is an accomplished financial professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in the financial industry.
He worked for Arthur Allen at ASG Software Solutions for 14 years prior to joining ALA Services. Charles received his Bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. His expertise is a  tremendous asset to the ALA Services Team.

Michael Jackson is a co-founder of Adaptive Computing and helped to drive the first nine years of profitable growth. Michael drives Adaptive Computing’s strategic planning and cross company coordination, with an added focus on business and partner development. Prior to joining Adaptive Computing Enterprises, Michael was product manager of Internet and security products at Novell Inc.—the current developer of SUSE Linux. He also served as Novell’s channel business development manager. Prior to Novell, Michael was with Dorian International, the second largest import–export management company in the United States.

Don Innis is a highly productive Senior Level Manager with success in both Security and Enterprise Software. Prior to joining ALA Services, Don worked for Arthur Allen at ASG Software Solutions and at Allen’s first venture, Allen Services Corporation. Don has served as President of Safeboot and GEM Solutions. He has a Mathematics degree from Otterbein University.

Years of experience: Approaching 25 years

Marty Smuin has more than 20 years of management experience in business development, sales and marketing. Most recently, Marty served as the President of Aircom International, Inc. Under his leadership, Aircom International, Inc. consistently exceeded financial projections and substantially grew revenue year over year. Prior to Aircom, Marty worked as the GM for the Americas at Bytemobile, Inc., which was acquired by Citrix. Previously, Marty held senior executive, sales, business development and marketing positions at Openwave Systems, ACCESS, i-drive, USA, Inc., and QVC. Marty has also worked extensively with start-ups, from concept to raising tens of millions of dollars from angel investors, VC’s and private equity firms.

Arthur Allen built and sold his first software company by the time he was 34 years of age. As CEO of ASG Software Solutions, Mr. Allen executed 60+ acquisitions over 29 years – growing the company to over $300M in revenue. He has acquired companies across the USA, Europe & Asia ranging in size from $5-150M – including such entities as Mobius, Atempo, CloudFactory, VisionApp, and PS’ Soft.
